Integration

Integrating psychedelic experiences is one of the most profound and meaningful ways to utilize the healing power of psychedelics. From a psychological perspective, deep integration is the process by which the psyche becomes whole as the ego becomes more balanced – finding a state that is neither wounded nor inflated – thus restoring the state of communication between the intellect and heart. True freedom comes from integration work as all the fragmented pieces of our lives come together into a unified whole.

At AyuMind, integration is our focus so that every client embodies the maximum benefit from our practices. Methods of Integration include (but are not limited to):

Dream Analysis

Talk Therapy.

Talking through insights and issues is a time tested method of deeply integrating what we want to let go of as well as establishing a commitment to create the life that we do want. Our expertise includes Cognitive behavioral therapy, EFT, heart-centered hypnotherapy, Jungian-based work including dream analysis, and more.

Yoga Therapy. Trauma is well known to hide in the body and somatic work is a time-tested way of releasing and integrating wisdom. Yoga therapy includes simple movements to enhance insight, mindfulness, and awareness of the body in a positive way.

Journaling/Art Therapy/Creative Expression.

Journaling as integration is a valuable tool for creating new neural pathways in the brain. Neuroscience proves that rewiring the brain is not only possible, but with support and focus we can effectively subdue unhealthy habits (including negative thinking) and generate positive outcomes much faster than if we only “think” about what we want. The Jungian approach to “active imagination” is a method of creatively exploring the psyche so that it can literally speak to the thinking mind. There is magic in writing, drawing, and activating the creative aspects of the brain!
